Calling on Odesas all over America to support Ukraine today!

Baltimore and Odesa (Odessa) have been sister cities since 1974. Today we are calling on other cities in the US and across the world that are named Odesa (Odessa) to stand behind the namesake, Odesa, Ukraine, during this time of war. The diaspora of Odesa can come together in this time of crisis. Most recently, in April, a 3-month old and his mother were killed in the apartment building in which they lived. We as a direct sister city to Odesa are asking citizens to join us in raising funds to buy much needed humanitarian aid.

Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov has personally requested 7,000 first aid kits as well as modular homes to provide housing in Odesa for refugees fleeing violence and devastation in neighboring towns.

$500 buys a portable generator

$1,000 buys ten first aid kits

$10,000 buys one modular home

Your generous contribution will help the citizens of Ukraine during this critical time.

On behalf of the people of Odesa, thank you in advance for your support!
